Julie B. Riccio joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Director in the Office of Government, Regulatory Affairs & Public Policy in 2014. In her current role, Julie represents the firm and its interests before Congress, the Executive Branch and federal regulatory agencies. Julie also serves on the accounting profession’s Federal Legislative Task Force (FLTF) where she collaborates and shares her expertise with counterparts across the profession. Julie manages the Public Policy team’s strategy to engage Members of Congress on PwC’s approach to diversity. In 2015, Julie launched a PwC program to help less tenured women Members of Congress establish leadership political action committees where they can use their funds to support other women, providing needed financial support to grow the pipeline of women candidates to run for Congress. The effort, aligned with the firm’s broader strategy, is an important component of the firm’s continued brand differentiation in Washington. Julie also represents the firm at the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Women Advisory Group meetings.

Julie started her career in public policy working as a legislative aide to former House Financial Services Committee Chairman Spencer Bachus (R-AL). In this role, Julie’s legislative accomplishments included extended bonus depreciation and expensing laws, estate tax reform, and industry exemptions to the consumer product safety law, all of which provided significant financial benefits to member companies. Additionally, while managing PrintPAC, Julie produced the largest increase in contributions since the PAC’s inception and executed a campaign which ultimately increased the number of PAC-eligible member companies by 94 percent. Julie graduated from Auburn University. She is married to Cliff Riccio and has three children.
