SAIA's Annual Alternative Investments Summit (11/17/2022):

Fireside Chat with David Bonderman – Founding Partner of TPG and Majority Owner of the Seattle Kraken

Dear SAIA Community,

We are excited to host our 10th Annual Alternative Investment Summit on Thursday, November 17th at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Rampant, persistent inflation and higher interest rates have created a difficult environment in capital markets in the last year. The possibility of a hard landing in the economy also exists as the Fed tries to navigate its way through this time. This has left investors few places to hide as traditional asset classes have exhibited higher than expected correlations. Periods of heightened volatility and uncertainty such as this require resolve and careful risk management, but also create unique opportunities for skillful investors.

As such, SAIA is pleased to have David Bonderman, Founding Partner of TPG, University of Washington alumni and majority owner of the Seattle Kraken, share his insights in a fireside chat alongside Shelly Heier, President of Verus. Please join us as they discuss broad-based topics including the current economic environment, the evolution and role of alternatives in portfolios, the future of alternative investments as well as potential investment opportunities for the current environment and beyond.

We look forward to seeing you there!
