Junior Achievement of Washington 

Dear SAIA Community,

We’re excited to invite our Seattle‑area finance and alternatives community to join the SAIA Board for a volunteer day with Junior Achievement of Washington on Friday, May 8, at Wing Luke Elementary School.

JA in a Day is a hands‑on way to use your professional experience to give back locally. Volunteers spend the day in an elementary school classroom leading engaging, age-appropriate lessons on financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurial thinking - topics that align naturally with professional backgrounds and experiences of our community members.

Junior Achievement makes the experience easy and rewarding. Volunteers work in pairs, and all lesson materials and guidance are provided in advance. The day is interactive, well structured, and designed so you can focus on connecting with students and bringing real-world perspective into the classroom - without needing to overthink preparation.
