Mike Delucia is a sector lead focused on e nergy, buildings, and cities in Wellington Climate Innovation. He will focu s on managing the firm’s private-company investment activity in companies d eveloping climate solutions within energy, buildings, and cities, working c losely with portfolio managers, global industry analysts, and other global research resources within the firm to identify and pursue investments. As t he climate innovation effort continues to grow, he will help build the team , develop investment talent, and further integrate Wellington’s research ca pabilities into this emerging business.
Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2021, Mike was a founding partner at Sidewalk Inf rastructure Partners (“SIP”, 2019 – 2021), where he led all aspects of the investment process for companies and projects in the infrastructure technol ogy space, with a focus on investments in the energy transition and the bui lt environment. SIP is a spin-off of Alphabet’s cities-of-the-future arm, S idewalk Labs, where he worked (2017 – 2019) as associate director, investme nts. In this role, he led venture investments and incubations in the energy , water, waste, and mobility sectors. He was also previously a vice preside nt in the Energy Markets Division of Macquarie Group (2014 – 2017), investi ng directly in the energy and power sectors.
Mike began financing energy companies as a project finance analyst at HSH Nordbank (20 08 – 2009), then as an investment associate at Nereus Capital (2009 – 2013) . He began his career as an analyst at J.P. Morgan Investment Bank (2007 – 2008). Mike holds a B.A. in philosophy and economics from Brown University (2007).
Olivia Wassenaar is a Partner, Head of Sustainable Investing and Co-H ead of Natural Resources at Apollo. As Head of Apollo’s Sustainable Investi ng platform, Olivia leads the Firm’s multi-asset investment strategy focuse d on financing and investing in the energy transition and decarbonization o f industry. The platform spans the Firm’s equity, hybrid and yield business es as it targets deploying $50 billion in clean energy and climate capital over the next five years and $100 billion by 2030. Olivia’s investments at Apollo have focused on the energy transition, and she serves on the boards of several Apollo funds’ portfolio companies including FlexGen, Graanul, Ta kkion and Total Operations and Production Services (TOPS). Olivia also co-c hairs Apollo’s DE&I Steering Group.
Prior to joining Apollo, Olivia was a Managing Director at Riverstone Holdings, where she w as a member of the investment team for 10 years. Previously, she worked at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division, where she largely focused on renewable energy sector coverage. Olivia started her career in the Envi ronment Department at The World Bank Group. She received her AB, magna cum laude, from Harvard College, attended the Yale School of the Environment, a nd received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
Rob is a Senior Managing Direct or with Stonepeak and is Co-Head of Energy for the Americas. Before joining Stonepeak, Rob was a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Americas Inf rastructure and Energy Group at Macquarie Capital, having joined Macquarie in 2001. While at Macquarie, Rob was also a member of the Macquarie America s Management Committee and the board of Macquarie Capital (USA).
Rob received a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics and Econ omics from Penn State University and a Master of Commerce (Honours) in Econ omics from the University of New South Wales.
Brent is a Managing Director and Global
Head of Real Assets based in the firm’s Portland office, where he is an In
vestment Committee member and leads the firm’s investment activities across
real estate, infrastructure and natural resources. Prior to joining Hamilt
on Lane, Brent was a Managing Director and Principal of Real Asset Portfoli
o Management LLC. Brent joined Real Asset Portfolio Management LLC in 2012
to focus on energy, infrastructure, and minerals and mining, with a seconda
ry focus on real estate investments. Brent co-led the sale of Real Asset Po
rtfolio Management to Hamilton Lane in 2017 and continues to focus on the n
on-real estate sectors of real assets across primary funds, secondaries and
direct equity opportunities for Hamilton Lane’s clients and managed accoun
ts. Prior to joining RAPM, Brent worked at R.V. Kuhns & Associates. Pri
or to joining RVK, Brent worked in the Development and Investment group of
Trammell Crow Company and as an Associate on FLAG Capital Management’s Real
Assets investment funds.
Brent began his career as a man
agement consultant for the Monitor Group. Brent graduated from Brigham Youn
g University with a BS in Accounting and a BA in Economics.
