12th Annual Alternative Investment Summit: 11/21/2024
Examining the motivations, practicalities and risks of public-to-private transactions from multiple perspectives Dear SAIA Community, We are excited to invite you to our 12th Annual Alternative Investment Summit on Thursday, November 21st at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Seattle. Over the past few years, companies have increasingly considered public-to-private transactions as a strategic move. These decisions are driven by various factors, such as the desire to streamline governance, optimize long-term growth, and unlock operational efficiencies. Examples in the technology sector, such as Twitter/X, Squarespace, and Rover have highlighted the complexities and opportunities associated with such transitions. We have put together a distinguished panel featuring Sam Hamilton, VP of Corporate Development & Capital Markets at Metropolis Technologies, Mark Mader, CEO of Smartsheet, Brett Miller, MD of Technology Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs, and Allison Bromley, a former Senior Investment Officer at University of Washington's Investment Company to help us explore some of the key motivations behind public-to-private transitions, the risks involved and the strategic trade-offs. We look forward to hosting you for what promises to be an insightful and engaging conversation. Space is limited, so please RSVP now. See you at the event!
